Employment Equity Act
NAPE provides an Employment Equity guarantee to their members, pertaining to Section 21 2(a) and the applicable fines as per Schedule
1 of the Employment Equity Act , No. 55 of 1998, which is subject to the following:
- All meetings/consultation times scheduled with the designated and selected parties must be adhered to at all times.
- Time constraints as set out in the Work Schedule marked Annexure A, and any additional NAPE notifications must be adhered to at all times.
- Three (3) days notification in writing, must be filed from either party, if any problems are encountered.
- Should the employer not adhere to the above mentioned conditions it will result in retraction of the guarantee - ("Monthly payments must be made out to NAPE, we will take no responsibility should you choose to do otherwise.")
